Self is right. OSU has a chance to get in the NCAA Tourney with a win and a loss by Kansas State.

Non conference and RPI the difference. http://d2s3dt9f4iyeup.cloudfront.net/images/standard_v1/62e096d9-55e3-4c97-b8f9-fe334c8ab323.png

And HCBS has made it very clear that they will coach/approach this game no differently just because they have #14 wrapped. And they will coach/approach this game no differently just because this game has no bearing on seeding for the BIG 12 tournament from a KANSAS standpoint.

Always respect Self and his approach to games like this one.

This is a huge revenge game for us. Okie St made us look very sub standard this season. Payback game.

Re: Kansas at Oklahoma State - 03/03/18 02:48 PM

No KU cover and under

Can't pick OSU to snap Self's sweepless streak, tho(but it is going to happen at some point).

KU 75-72(with the Push)

I will never understand how a 17-13 team like OSU can look this good against us, and get beat by crappie teams for 13 losses.

Vick hasn't shown up for about a month now, when do we try someone else? That ship has sailed. At least give Cunliffe a shot, can't play any worse on either end.

Re: Kansas at Oklahoma State - 03/03/18 04:47 PM

If I was their coach I would give them some blue glasses to wear. They only play like this when they see KU in front of them.

When it goes sour everything goes sour. Now the officials can't make a good call. If I was Self I would rest all my starters for the rest of the game. No sense in getting anyone injured in this fiasco.

Bill Self owned in Stillwater again.

Expect more of the same next weekend.....the season for these guys ended Monday night. They've already overachieved. HCBS squeezed everything out of them they had to give. IMO there's no reason to be disappointed by this game....there was no real way on any level to motivate anyone dressed in blue for this game....the "never been swept" thing is way overblown in this day and age. It's been a long and tough season.....well done Hawks. Lots to be proud of.

Boone Pickens pays off Self again to throw another game to da Pokea. Double bonus this season. Better pray to God we beat them next Thursday in KC. Again this game proved we are mediocre talent wise and over achieved. Sweet 16 at best. Shockers can beat this KU team. No problem

Oh dot net limp wristed clowns are blaming refs once again. No refs cant be blamed for a 16 pt beatdown by a 17-13 team.

Re: Kansas at Oklahoma State - 03/03/18 06:58 PM

Dominated in every way. Worst loss of season. Vick, Newman invisible in this game. Can't get stops on D. Can't hit open shots on O.

When this team shoots the ball well, they can beat anyone. When they don't, they can get beat by anyone.

Fat assss Seth Greenberg says KU is not that good and could lose in the first round of the NCAAs....I concur.

Re: Kansas at Oklahoma State - 03/03/18 09:35 PM

I think most teams this season could get beat in the first weekend of the tourney.

Way to many lackluster teams in the country. I could see a mid major win the title this season.

As for us, well this game shows what can happen when we show up not ready to play. Does next week even matter? Win or lose early we are at worst a #2 seed. I would rather be a #2 seed and lose to Iona than a #1 seed and lose to Chicago ST!

Were the same team today we have been over the last two weeks. We just had nothing to prove once we got down by 16. I think this team can flip a switch and show up ready to play when it wants to.

My biggest concern has been and remains to be how Vick will play. He is so unreliable. I don't know why Cunliffe isn't on the court more.

KU under Self 18-11 vs da Pokes...got to be his worst record against any B12 opponent..something is fishy seeing its his alma mater...

Led by former KU player Conner Frankamp. Why is Conner Frankamp not a Jayhawk still?

Wichita St. coach Gregg Marshall, with a $3.3. million salary would out coach Bill Self again.

I'll disagree then.

Re: Kansas at Oklahoma State - 03/05/18 12:09 PM

I was just kidding ...are you serious about Marshall out coaching Self again. Not sure if that was even the case last time. WSU's team was simply superior. I think KU wins a rematch. Hope that happens....

Re: Kansas at Oklahoma State - 03/05/18 12:19 PM

Self was out coached a lot this year. Self can recruit so he get the coaching award for winning the Big 12.
