"Self on Tuesday night confirmed that the Kansas basketball program was exploring the idea of adding KU football player James Sosinski, a 6-foot-7, 260-pound tight end on David Beaty's team, to the roster as a walk-on.

Self said Sosinski practiced one day this week and added that they would allow him to practice for another week to see how it goes. Sosinski averaged 19.1 points and 12.6 rebounds per game for South Mountain Community College in Phoenix before coming to KU."

Makes me think Self is preparing for life without Preston. Earlier, when someone asked him about Sosinski Self said that he didn't need to add someone just to have another body. He said he had some guys he could call. Looks like he's changing his tune a little. Maybe he hesitated to try this guy out because Keegan suggested it first.

cheek deallio was mostly ineffective. clifford alexander was mostly ineffective. josh shelby was mostly ineffective. If and when billy p. ever suits up, I would expect him to be mostly ineffective.

Past history tells us they will be mostly ineffective after coming back from sitting out an ncaa inspired detention.

Preston is a much more polished player at this point than Diallo or Alexander. His challenge will be defensively.
