Chiefs - 10/07/18 08:48 PM

Fug talking about Jayhawk football. The Chiefs are having a great season and Mahomes is the real deal. The so called mighty Jaguars didnt even challenge KC today...This might finally be their year.

Re: Chiefs - 10/08/18 11:18 AM

Every team, every year, success for an NFL team depends on one thing, injuries. If they go through the year fairly injury free, they could go all the way. I am one fan who is happy that Berry has yet to see the field this year. I would prefer he doesn't touch the field till December. Yesterday, I was hoping to see Henne play at the end of the game.

Re: Chiefs - 10/08/18 01:02 PM

Yeah me too. Mahomes took a few shots in that game. Looked a little hurt after one of them...And that last pick je had he should have handed it off to Hunt. Hunt would have easily picked up the first down. Mahomes needs to learn he doesnt have to make something happen on every play...KC needs to run more.

Re: Chiefs - 10/08/18 05:07 PM

Coming from a Broncos fan, they are very good. One of my friends who is a fatalistic chiefs fan has continually been saying that he wonders how Reid will screw it up.

If Berry comes back and can provide them anything on the defensive side of the ball, they truly COULD be the team to beat.

And I hate saying that.

If anybody can screw it up it will be Andy. But hopefully not this season. Chiefs fans deserve another Super Bowl. And btw screw da Donks...they played a good game vs the Chiefs in Denver. But KC is going to beat them down in Camarohead..

Re: Chiefs - 10/09/18 04:54 PM

It doesn't look like Berry will play this year. Houston, Murray, Kpassagnon, all questionable. Can't afford to lose players on that side of the ball. Duvernay-Tardiff out on o-line.

I'm much more concerned about Bob Sutton than Andy Reid.

Re: Chiefs - 10/09/18 05:57 PM

It is Andy that keeps Sutton around...hence it is still his mistake. The Chiefs wont win at the Patriots bt God I hope they do. I hate their punk bandwagon fan base as much as the Steelers and Packers. But we have too many injuries....happy we beat the Jaguars but they beat us up...plus we beat the Patriots the last 2 times we played them.

They will be fired up. KC has to lose eventually. Let that one happen and let KC beat Cincy and Denver...we will be in the drivers seat at 7-1...might only lose one more after that....well lets hope so.

Just got my tickets for the Bengals Sunday Night Prime Time game. Was going to buy them at Arrowhead Box Office but they were about 20% cheaper on Ticket Master. Oh well GO CHIEFS...

Re: Chiefs - 10/10/18 08:38 PM

Denver won't even show up let alone out at Camarohead. We will be coachless and listing on the the sea of how the phuck did we get here by then.

I truly think if the Chiefs can just have a poor but not terrible defense, they can win a Super Bowl this year.

Well you're no fun...was expecting a fugg the Chiefs from you. Denver does seem to be in trouble currently. But they had their day give the Chiefs their turn. I dont know about winning a Super Bowl with our defense. I will be happy making it to an AFC Championship game this season and win it all in 2020.

Ya know....I'm. realist. Ten years ago a solid, firm Phuck you would be the response. Then, I became friends with someone who played 13 years as a journeyman QB who explained to me that the rivalries are mostly for the fans. 99% of the players truly don't care who they play for or against, have friends and former teammates on the opposition, and just that they get paid.

Chiefs are good on offense. Poor on defense. If they can buck the defense wins championships mentality, they'll be fine.

Kubiak? I say that b/c I came face to face with him before this season started picking up his family's dinner at a restaurant near the Broncos training facility. He knew I knew him but we passed on saying hello. Down to earth fellow.

I didnt post phuk you because I am not an anti dentite. Plus you guys are name dropping. Thats very gutter like...dont do that. Speaking of gutter..now he calls himself gutters mother on the new crappycrimson.com. He is still crying for attention using a crazed split personality format. And yes he is still getting smacked around. That guy will never learn.

Not Kubiak....a fellow Kansan and Jayhawk fan Shaun Hill. I don't mean to name drop, but it truly did let me behind the scenes, meet other players, and realize that it is JUST a job. There's nothing magical or amazing about being a pro athlete, other than you broke odds that are greater than the lottery to make it there.

Feel sorry for him for having to move out of Colorado!

We probably did just enough today to keep Vance Joseph around for another week or two.

Colorado stinks of dope and hippy crap...you didnt grow up there. I always want to give Colorado douche natives the knock out punch. Everyone I ever met was very arrogant...on another note the Chiefs stink so far tonight. Brady aint going to ler a rookie beat him..this game should have been in KC...

Re: Chiefs - 10/14/18 10:34 PM

Andy still needs to improve on clock management. Why call timeouts with 3 minutes to go in the game? It wouldn't have made any difference but could have. He needs to learn that his team can score quickly. Not like last years team. This team is like the trent greene team. They didn't make the playoffs one year cause they called timeouts with one minute to go in the half, scored on the next play, and the raiders had enough time to drive and kick a fg.

Re: Chiefs - 10/14/18 10:44 PM

Reid has always suked at time management. I have met about 10 Philly natives that moved to KC. They all are glad he is no longer in Philly..I have no argument against them. He will never win a Super Bowl. He coukdnt with McNabb...Owens ..and Westbrook...he wont in KC as long as he leaves Sutton as his defensive coordinator...

Chefs playing pretty well tonight.

Defense even showed up.

Re: Chiefs - 10/22/18 12:25 AM

Just got home from the game. My best experience ever at Camarohead. A big win made all the Misery hard head redneck fans happy. Nobody wanted to fight on the way back to the car...much different vibe compared to the last 3 times I went with all being losses. Dumb leaving Mahomes in the last of the game..but it was all good.

Re: Chiefs - 10/22/18 08:51 AM

They're truly a force. I fear for what they might do this year if Mahomes stays healthy.

Mahomes seems to have that inate ability to avoid real contact. ..kind of like Brady. I dont see him getting hurt..All around great game. Heck I might go to a few more even though half the crowd is Misery knuckleheads playing their damm cornhole and spilling beer on everyone...

Re: Chiefs - 10/22/18 01:35 PM

I'm not a KC fan, but IMO Reid is the best thing to happen to KC coaching in a long spell. He's got things going his way now.

The Mahomes pick was a shrewd move. This young man may be the most promising QB talent to come along in the league since Russel Wilson, but I think Mahomes may have even more natural all around talent than Russ. I've been extremely impressed by his development rate and performance. He also has a bevy of terrific talent surrounding him. Things looking very good for KC football for the foreseeable future.

Re: Chiefs - 10/22/18 07:58 PM

Why didn't Reid play Henne at the end? Even Cincy put their second team QB in the game.
Posted by: PHOGUSHER

Re: Chiefs - 10/23/18 09:19 PM

That was dumb of Reid. He claims in his post game interview that he thought fans would criticize him if he didn't keep the hammer down. But that was stupid up 35 in the 4th. Up 18 beginning of the half vs Titans last season was a different scenario. But he was using tbat as an comparison.

Same mistake again. AR calls TO with 1 minute to go in the half. Donks score going into half. Does anyone point this stupidity out to the coach? When they watch game film does anyone say "hey, if we don't call a TO with 1 minute to go and just let the clock run and score with 25 seconds to go in the half, the other team doesn't have time to score?"

Re: Chiefs - 10/29/18 09:52 AM

Andy is kind of like Yost. I try to call him out when he makes multiple in game mistakes and I get ridiculed for it. Fortunately he wins enough regular season games to please the local fanbase. His playoff record is sub .500 ..meaning the stupid in game mistakes bites him in his big old butt when its against playoff caliber teams.

KC should have won that game yesterday by 20 pts but Reid's errors kept da Donks in the game. I have met numerois individuals that lived in Philadephia when he coached there and they are glad he is now coaching KC. Hell he had McNabb..Westbrook and Terrell Owens at Philly and couldnt win a Super Bowl. I am afraid the same will happen here.
