Wold love to dump JG's salary but Dye is about done. I can't think he has much left and aging vets is not where the Royals need to be going. There is a reason Sox wanted MT and it is because they think he will be taking Dye's spot if not soon then later.

I don't buy that Teahen was worth his money because of his "versatility". I don't even care if we send both these guys to the minors or just let them go. As long as Teahen is gone, and I don't have to sit around and watch another wasted season from him because the front office thinks he will finally understand his potential, then I am happy.

Oh yeah and hopefully jacobs is gone too, I want to just give Kila a full years worth of at bats and see what he can do.

Where is RC in that lineup? He was one of your best hitters, far better than Getz, and you are not going to platoon him to come in for defense.

Tough to say but I will lean no but apparently the sox think so. I will also say he is worth more than we got in return. It was a salary dump and unless we do something with it....well never mind that is the Royals way.

Because small market teams generally trade off veteran players when the player becomes too expensive in exchange for multiple players with potential.
This is the reality of baseballs uneven economic system that small market teams have to deal with.
