"Leave their sorry goalposts alone.

They don't have the money to replace them... They'll be arresting everyone they can catch and prosecuting to the hilt to recover the money for damages."

That's hilarious. Heard their bake sale to raise money for the AD was a flop.

"will you guys even win another game all year? "

I think the 'Cats have a reasonable chance of winning their game this coming Saturday. Going to 'Cats games has been kind to me.....ku / K-State game in Lawrence in '02, CCG at Arrowhead in '03, and I hope to add the '09 ku / K-State game in Manhattan to the list of great games to attend as a Wildcat fan. I am concerned that your talented team will ruin that streak, but there's a reason they play those games.

Has Lew Perkins milked the Reesing dynasty enough to fund improvements to your very old and not very nice looking stadium? Good luck with that, the best quarterback at ku since John Hadl only has a few more games....it's been very sad to watch his legacy get savaged on ku boards. K-Staters recognize him as a gamer/scrambler not to be underestimated. I hope he doesn't torch us through the air--I'm not sure K-State has a good answer to his passes to Meier and Briscoe, except maybe to give him a tour of the field turf on Wagner Field.

Well, 2 games you may not live long enough to witness as a fan of the ku jayhawks: A win in a CCG over the #1 rated team in the nation, and the largest margin of points in a win in the Sunflower Showdown.

Both of which could happen this year! Beat the cats by 70 on Saturday, and beat Texas (who is #1 after a Florida loss) in the BIG XII Title game this year! You make it sound like it can't be done? You are, like most cat fans, living in the past!

Texas could be No. 1 when they clash in Austin on Nov. 21.

At least I've witnessed history, you are speculating on, um, a very speculative future. I'll wait to see how ku does in Austin before commenting on your chances. Good luck with that.

History? WTF are you talking about? I'll give you the OU game, but was it historic? Are you the only team in the HISTORY of the NCAA to upset the #1 team in the Nation?

Win a BCS Bowl game and then we'll talk HISTORY!!!!!!

Burning down Aggieville was fun in the mid to late '80's, but at some point we need to beat them, leave their goal posts alone, and act like we've been there before....

KSU long ago beat ku to that milestone. KSU participated in 3 Bowl Alliance Series games (1995 to 2002, predecessor to BCS bowls), winning 2 of those. I hear a big "whiff" on the jayhawk claim to fame in football. Wow, how funny you wish for your program to be defined by one game. KSU did it with many, many games, that's why our program is over 60% in conference winning percentage (just over 35% for ku), and have 3 division and one conference championship to prove it. Poor ku fans know of none of this because no fan REALLY wants to admit their inferiority to K-State.
